Bio:
Antony Bland is Director of A&R for Rick Rubin's American Recordings label, a joint venture with Sony Music. The label has a diverse history, with signings ranging from Slayer to LL Cool J to Johnny Cash. Upcoming releases include Gogol Bordello and The Avett Brothers.
Prior to American, Antony was Director of International A&R at Chrysalis Music Publishing where he oversaw the worldwide catalogue of artists including Portishead, Spiritualized and Morcheeba, as well as numerous pop writers. He also manages Seattle artist Kate Tucker and Shangri-La recording artist Stacy Clark, both of whom have records releasing in the next few months.
